Our 200mm floor planers are designed to remove the top layer from concrete or screed floors.

They have a cylindrical drum of TCT cutters underneath, which is rotated at high speed to chip away the surface. These machines are often used to key the surface of a newly laid floor but may also be used for the removal of some paints or other coatings.

The 110v version can be used where fumes are an issue or the petrol version is a flexible option if power isn’t available – assuming sufficient ventilation. Large vacuums are available to use in conjunction with these machines, to give almost 100% dust control (when used properly).
